    And the Kickstarter is LIVE!

Hey y’all! I told you I was going to kickstart these little cuties! And here it is!  The campaign has a modest goal of $400 to print the first four designs, and two stretch goals to print the rest of the designs. I hope you’re as excited as I am for these! Please check the Kickstarter out at the link above, and share with your friends! (I currently can’t upload any additional images to my blog, my admin is looking into it at the moment. Please check out the link to learn more!)

    Coming Soon: Adventure Critters Kickstarter!

Hi folks! Gosh, it’s been a minute since I’ve posted here. Here’s a quick update: I’m doing pretty good all things considered, and I’m spending my summer at home this year rather than going on a multi-week/month adventure. As heartbroken as I am about that (Facebook keeps reminding me with ‘memories’ of last year and the year before, it’s torture!), I’m happy to be productive without worrying about poison oak and rattlesnakes. To The End – Mt. Hood to Cascade Locks

(This blog entry is from my Patreon blog, where you can see my Adventure Blog entries before anywhere else while supporting my trade and craft. Along with early blog posts, Patreon backers also receive access to trail comics, drawings, and videos.) Originally published on October 8th   August 15th – Wednesday – 5.1 miles hiked – 398 total – m. 2102 My last morning in this awesome hotel started with a hangover. Dammit. Just a light one, however, and it would have been worse had I not noticed that the cider I was drinking the night before was 8 months expired. I wondered why it tasted skunky. Bones didn’t sleep well, like the…

This is Going Too Fast – Olallie Lake Resort to Mt. Hood

(This blog entry is from my Patreon blog, where you can see my Adventure Blog entries before anywhere else while supporting my trade and craft. Along with early blog posts, Patreon backers also receive access to trail comics, drawings, and videos.) Originally published on August 14th August 11th – Saturday – 22.6 hiked – 362 total I woke up at 5:30 am and immediately needed to go to the bathroom. My choices were to find a place somewhere nearby in between a lake, a road, another road, and all these tent sites to dog a cat hole, or walk a tenth of a mile back to Olallie and use their pit toilets. Of…

The Charred Wasteland of my Heart – Oregon, Elk Lake to Olallie Lake Resort

(This blog entry is from my Patreon blog, where you can see my Adventure Blog entries before anywhere else while supporting my trade and craft. Originally posted: August 14th, 2018   August 4th – Saturday -14.3 hiked – 263 total – m. 1969.5 Crap, this is my last lined page for over 100 miles. I guess after this I type my journals. So we jumped up to Oregon, where we’re hiking the last 200 miles of the state to arrive just in time for Trail Days. First thing I noticed about the trail here is how smooth…

Strength and Smokescreens – Bishop to Vermillion Valley Resort

(This blog entry is from my Patreon blog, where you can see my Adventure Blog entries before anywhere else while supporting my trade and craft. Along with early blog posts, Patreon backers also receive access to trail comics, drawings, and videos.) Originally posted: 8/03/2018. Transcribed from handwritten journal. July 21st – Saturday – 2.3 hiked -??? Total Back in the trail! Sort of, anyway. Since we weren’t able to get out of town until noon and had a 2,500-foot climb first thing over a pass, and storms were moving in… we made camp at a lake just before the pass. We have 5 to 8ish days of food in our packs and really…
